|Deaf, dumb, and blind, they will not return (to the path).
|The parable of those who reject Faith is as if one were to shout Like a goat-herd, to things that listen to nothing but calls and cries: Deaf, dumb, and blind, they are void of wisdom.
|They thought there would be no trial (or punishment); so they became blind and deaf; yet Allah (in mercy) turned to them; yet again many of them became blind and deaf. But Allah sees well all that they do.
|Those who reject our signs are deaf and dumb,- in the midst of darkness profound: whom Allah willeth, He leaveth to wander: whom He willeth, He placeth on the way that is straight.
|For the worst of beasts in the sight of Allah are the deaf and the dumb,- those who understand not.
|These two kinds (of men) may be compared to the blind and deaf, and those who can see and hear well. Are they equal when compared? Will ye not then take heed?
|It is he whom Allah guides, that is on true Guidance; but he whom He leaves astray - for such wilt thou find no protector besides Him. On the Day of Judgment We shall gather, them together, prone on their faces, blind, dumb, and deaf: their abode will be Hell: every time it shows abatement, We shall increase from them the fierceness of the Fire.
|Say, "I do but warn you according to revelation": But the deaf will not hear the call, (even) when they are warned!
|Those who, when they are admonished with the Signs of their Lord, droop not down at them as if they were deaf or blind.
|Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat.
|So verily thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call, when they show their backs and turn away.
|Canst thou then make the deaf to hear, or give direction to the blind or to such as (wander) in manifest error?
|Such are the men whom Allah has cursed for He has made them deaf and blinded their sight.
